Amazing tour in to the real life of the townships - Luciano

The experience was very well organized. After the pick up, the driver brings you to the township towards district 6 and in the meantime he explains some backgrounds of townships giving some historical hints. Afterwards, he drops you in the township of Langa with another guide, who walks you in the streets of the township giving explanations and bringing you in the real houses of the people that live there. Quite an experience, you can truly immerse yourself in that reality. People are very kind and we have never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. I truly recommend it. - Sofia

As visitors to Cape Town we thought this tour was an excellent introduction to the harsh difficulties faced by many of the majority population. Without such tours the realities that remain in South Africa would be difficult to truly appreciate. We were able to speak to many residents of Langa, we asked many questions and were met with knowledgeable and thoughtful responses. We were surprised by and grateful for the optimism and friendliness we encountered. Yes, we realise a few hours can only scratch the surface, but we came away much better informed and with much to think about. We recommend this tour most highly. - Sigrun
